Incy wincy with the blues .. and pinks

Incy Wincy usually climbs up the spout .. this big guy hid behind the drain pipe spout so that he wouldn’t get ‘washed out’ with the lovely, gentle rain we had last night …

.. commonly known as the ‘rain spider’ or ‘Huntsman spider’ from the family Sparassidae genus Palystes

.. ‘out came the sun and dried up all the rain’ and Incy Wincy disappeared .. hopefully up the spout and not in the house !!!!   I dislike them immensely !!!

And the blues and pinks ?   … flowers in my garden, naturally  😉   I was up and about very early this morning.   After the lovely overnight rain, the air was fresh, the garden was sparkling and the birds were chirping happily.  Deep .. long slow breathing .. welcoming this beautiful new day !!

  1. I’ve been so busy lately with work and then hosting bloggers last weekend plus SATSA and SA Tourism for the next couple of days, that I haven’t had a chance to look at people’s blogs. Went to look for a Geocache the other evening. Got to ground zero and felt around in the dark without any success. Shined my torch there and a big rain spider came walking out where I just had my hand. Eeeuuwwww…..
