One thousand posts !! Cannot believe it !! Anyway, there it is .. the stats don’t lie. I thought of doing something special like re- posting my first one, or the 100th, or the 500th, or my favourite post, or the best place we’ve travelled to …
.. or I shall carry on with ‘our Cape visit’ posts 🙂
Blaauwklippen Vineyards in Stellenbosch is one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa
It was an extremely hot day so hubby and I had salads for lunch accompanied by a Blaauwklippen Sauvignon Blanc for me, and a Rose for hubby under the shade of large trees. That’s how hot it was .. we drank crisp light wines .. and a jug of iced water ..
Next time we’ll do the wine tastings, antique carriage museum and market. They cater for kiddies, with jungle gyms and a farmyard (all animals finding shade in the midday heat)
Blaauwklippen’s 17th century magnificent Manor House, beautifully maintained ..
Ducks had the best idea that day ..
