As promised in my last post …. Robyn and Mark’s perfect wedding!
Robyn looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress .. Mark equally handsome in his brocade waistcoat and dark suit !! They are an amazing couple .. they share something very special .. they were destined to be together. Jeanette, (and her second’s photographer) has captured the love they share in her photographs – please visit her website
We were so honoured to be part of their special day – Jeanette capturing their very special memories … Elaine, a bridesmaid, standing beside her best friend .. and me !! I made the cake .. whoo hoo !!!!! 🙂 I was so relieved it came out well 🙂 Baked it that morning, and only thought when I woke in the morning that that was not the wisest thing to do in case we had a power failure – which is quite possible as we get them frequently. Anyway, we didn’t .. and it worked out well .. phew !!
Photos through my lens of Robyn and Mark’s wedding day held on Saturday, 10.11.12 at Toadbury Hall, in Muldersdrift !! Pics mainly in the chapel
Gorgeous little chapel!!! I would have loved to have taken a sideview but it was dripping with rain 😦 and we were huddled under an umbrella here ..
Mark pinning a flower on his Ouma’s (grandmother) dress …
Mark’s sister and little niece, the cutest little flower girl !!!
Isn’t she too gorgeous ? !!
Jeanette, with ‘
guns cameras loaded’ !!! 🙂 .. chatting to the minister, who conducted a really lovely service
.. a cutie pie !!
Shedding a tear or two !!
‘You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.
Aye, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone.
Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together, yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.’
